I think we have decided that we are going to have our wedding at the Inn at Salado. It is so beautiful, and very quaint and southern. We still have not set a date yet, but we are shooting for October of 2007. Here are some pics we took at the open house:

So the future is looking bright, but this past week was really bad. On Wednesday I had the worst headache of my life which put me back about 2 hours in my homework, which I did not get done until 1:30 in the morning, and then I spent another hour scouring my apartment for my USB drive, which I think I may have left in the cheap Kathy von Zeeland purse I used for one day before the rhinestones started to fall out of it. I called Dillards to see if they had found it, and the lady said no and told me that when they get a defective purse they cut off the handles, cut the bag in half, and throw it away. How cruel! Goes to show that it must only take about $10 to make a purse that they charge you $100 for. Greedy bastards... So after that I am getting ready to leave for work on Thursday morning and can't find my keys anywhere, so I have to skip work and keep looking for them, and finally found them just in time to go to class. I had to take my whole couch apart because it ended up that they were inside the sleeper sofa! Who knows how they managed that. So in the afternoon, to make a very complicated story short, I called my mom and found out her pomeranian Dolly died in surgery that morning, and for those of you who know my mom know that it was like having a child die. We have all been very depressed, but DJ is doing her best to brighten the atmosphere. Dolly was so wonderful and had an amazing life, so it was a really hard hit on my family.
Well, after that doozy we still had to suck it up and have a good time at my sister's birthday party on Saturday. She is turning 17 and just got her driver's license, which is very scary. She has driven me around a lot and she is getting pretty good, but she will always be 12 to me so I am still trying to get used to it. She wanted to go to Austin's Park and Pizza with 4 of her friends, and I originally planned to stay with them and do stuff with David and Ryan while mom and dad went out to dinner with some of our friends from Austin. However, once I got there and realized there were about 10 kids to every adult and I was going to have to guard the purses and jackets all night, I had mom come pick me up and I went out to dinner with them. I had a great time because we went to Cheddar's and I discovered their $2.50 strawberry margaritas, which were absolutely delicious and I had 3 of them! You should all be very proud of me, because afterwards I was only slightly buzzed and did not get drunk on my sister's birthday like last year! My tolerance has improved somewhat... Carol and her friends and David and Ryan had a great time too, so everything worked out for the best. I think it is hard for my sister to remember that I am not 17 like her since we still dress so similar and do so much stuff together, but that place was not for me. I much prefer alcohol and chicken tenders....
